Monks and Buddhists reviewing the life and affairs of Hoang Phap Pagoda’s Founder.

In the evening of Nov. 27th, 2020 (Lunar Oct. 13th, Year of Mouse), monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda had a test on the life and religious affairs of Late Great Most Venerable Ngo Chan Tu.

This is a traditional beauty of the pagoda, made before the death anniversary of the Founder of Hoang Phap pagoda. With the spirit of gratitude and repayment to the Patriarch, all monks and Buddhists had a review of his biography. This occasion recalls the brilliant deeds and career of the Founder, helping post- believers to take it as a motivation, follow his example, to be diligent on the path of study. The effort to cultivate and step on the path of propagating the Patriarch went, is the noblest flower of gratitude to honor him.

Before the mass did the test, Senior Thich Chan Tinh had a few praises for the responsive spirit of monks and Buddhists and gave encouragement to the mass. When all participants learn and remember the life of the Master is to express a spirit of gratitude to the person who has enlightened, created and built this pagoda. This checking is for reminder of a shining golden history page. Since then, the followers take it as an example on the path of cultivation and propagation of the dharma.

In the pure solemn atmosphere, everyone was respectful in their answer on the test. Each attendee answered 20 multiple-choice questions in seven minutes.

The evening ended in joy for the participants.
