More than 45.000 New Year Presents for Buddhists on Jan 1st Lunar New Year

Thus the year of Horse ended and the year of Goat has come. Each of us can distinctly feel busy and eager in the traditional Lunar New Year. New Year comes, and Spring arrives, that is the moment at which heaven and earth wait and welcome the Spring, and all living beings will innovate.
Spring comes to awake all living beings after a long\r\nhibernation in Winter. Withered vegetation becomes charming and beautiful in\r\nmany color full of vitality. In that jubilant atmosphere, people also feel\r\nheartening and hopeful in the better new year. For centuries, going to the\r\npagoda for quiet-seeking and blessing from Buddha have become a traditional\r\nhabit and a culture of Vietnamese life.
In this lofty significance, in the early morning of Jan 1st Lunar\r\nNew Year, thousands of Buddhists and visitors from everywhere came to the\r\npagoda to offer incense to the Buddha and wish the Master a Happy New Year.
To prepare a careful program for welcoming to Buddhists and\r\nvisitors in the Lunar New Year, in the last half of Dec. 2014 of Lunar Year,\r\nthe pagoda readily prepared 200.000 Lunar New Year lucky bags, 200.000 DVDs and\r\nmore than 1 ton of cake and jam.
In the merry Lunar New Year and in the respect of Buddhists\r\nto the Buddha, Sen. Ven. Thich Chan Tinh and the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda\r\npresented at Forefather House from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. to welcome Buddhists,\r\nvisitors and give lucky buds to them. In this occasion, the Abbot offered more\r\nthan 45.000 New Year bags and more than 45.000 dharma DVDs “Saving Beingsâ€\r\nwhich is about his last year dharma affairs. Besides that, the pagoda has also\r\nserved more than a half ton of cake to Buddhists and visitors who arrived at\r\nthe pagoda.
