New-Year Meeting of Dharmapala Group

Based on the invitation of the Administrator of Dharmapala group, Deputy Abbot Thich Tam Dao and monks joined the event and delivered the motivation talk to youngsters.First, he praised the enthusiasm spirit of the group members who can settle the mission, vision and social responsibility for life at young age and come to pagoda to preserve Dharma, support the monks in Buddhism activities, refusing the attractive and exciting secular entertainments in the society. These noble acts can generate abundant merits. Besides, he advised the youth following the example of the Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, who spent his whole life for Buddhism activities to turn the Dharma wheel and serve sentient beings despite his golden age. Thanks to his compassion that we, the Dharmapala group members, Buddhist or non-Buddhist, success or failure, can come to take refuge in Triratna, to practice and to live in the warm environment of the ashram. We should be grateful to the Abbot’s kindness and follow his example as the guideline for our lives so that we can have the ideals to live and to strive for in life. Additionally, the Reverend encouraged the group members trying their best to support the monks in Buddhism activities and develop the group with new members.

The program also had the participation of the singers: Nam Cuong, Si Luan, Viet My, little Hoai Minh and so on.
