New Year of Peace at the region of Hoa Phuc Pagoda

In flowing of people stops at the pagoda in countryside, sending inner vows to the spiritual place at the beginning of lunar new year at Hoa Phuc pagoda (Quoc Oai - Hanoi) on Jan. 3rd, the rat year.

Going to the temple, worshiping Buddha, traveling in New Year is a tradition beauty of Vietnam culture. In  the first 3 days of the spring, thousands of people come to the pagoda to worship Buddha, receive the fortune of spring and ask for each letter of meaning be written by the monks. People are guided to some places to visit and worship in the temple. In harmony with the quiet space, warm weather, without sounding of any noises like the city, travelers look gentle and relaxed. Ignoring everything that is unhappy, breathing peaceful air and chanting Buddhist text, which will help visitors release from the anxious of old year, absorb positive energy at pagoda.

All votive rites have been abandoned, the hustle and bustle is no longer when people wait in line for the bell to pray for peace in the new year thanking to the arrangement of organizers. Everyone's face is full of delight, happiness and hope. Going to the temple to worship Buddha and travel in spring, everyone had more time to talk and take together souvenir photos.

The  traditional culture beauty between the religion and life is preserved as the symbol of rice-salt tray in the wish of a prosperous and full New Year. In addition, there is a gift of handbook A Gift of New Year”  - writing about good things, helping people to love more each other.
