New Year’s Praying Ceremony for Peace at Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa Province.

Within the atmosphere welcoming Tet holiday, it is being taken place all over our country. The Buddhists of Dong Cao pagoda who live in Yen Khoai villagers, Nga Yen commune, Thanh Hoa province and the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda - HCMC made rituals to welcome the spring of Monkey Year for good men and believing women from everywhere coming and enjoying the national festival.
 

New Year’s Praying Ceremony for Peace at Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa Province.

 

On Feb 14th, 2015 (Lunar Jan. 07th, Monkey year), the mandala of Dong Cao pagoda held the New Year’s Praying Ceremony for Peace.


The ceremony began with a Dharma talk named “How to achieve the thing prayed for?” by Junior Venerable Thich Tam Trong - monk of Hoang Phap pagoda. It helps Buddhist knew clearly about donation and praying. How to pray something that deserves a Buddhist who have much happiness at present.     

After that, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hung – leading organizer of the ceremony performed the ceremony of offering incense, doing homage to the Buddha, and praying for blessing in New Year.

At the end, the organizers gave lucky envelop and a book named â€œHọa phước khôn lường” (Unexpected Luck and Unlucky) by Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh.
