Nguyen Van Cu School students pray for University Examination 2022

On July 2nd, 2022 (June 04th, LC), over 300 students from Nguyen Van Cu High School, Hoc Mon district, HCMC, gathered at Hoang Phap to pray before the high school graduation exam and the university exam in 2022.

To lift up their spirits before taking the exam, Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda shared some words of encouragement and consolidation of their will.

Entering the Graduation exam, students begin to step into the world widely, facing challenges and difficulties. Therefore, the youth’s temple return is a very meaningful activity to absorb in themselves the values of truth - goodness - beauty and benevolence in order to have enough knowledge entering life. The monk told the general situation of exams in three countries: China, Korea, Japan, the psychological pressures that a student must face; Since then, he has somewhat relieved, reassured and encouraged their spirit before the upcoming exam. He told about the Buddha's self-help example that the youth should learn hard and practice skills, face challenges and find a way to overcome them. Then, we can reap the fruits of our living.

He expected them to be very attentive, create positive energy, calm and clear to complete the exam well.

After the prayer rite, students and their teachers had a warm meal at the temple.

When leaving the pagoda, each student received a gift of Dharma, including the book Sunshine in the Rain, Love conquers, "The story of Shakyamuni Buddha", “Lessons of Teenager”, and other gifts.
