On June 15th, 2024 in the teachers' guidance in the School Director Board, master teachers and subject teachers, over 300 students of Nguyen Van Cu High School, Hoc Mon district, HCMC gathered at Hoang Phap pagoda to pray before the High School Graduation Exam, and University exam 2024.
After seat stability, all students paid their respect in front of Three Jewels; and monks arrived to the main hall to hold the ritual. Next, Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda had encouragement and consolidated their will.
He praised the teachers who were enthusiastic in taking care of students to improve their knowledge and then directing them towards goodwill, encouraging their spirit, and creating conditions for them to go to the temple to pray before the exam.
Then, he had some words to all students:
Going to the temple to pray, the young people receive the blessing of the Three Jewels, so they are more confident and calmer with a clear mind when entering the exam. However, to have good results in the exam, you need to be fully equipped with three elements:
1. Capacity makes efforts to study and practice solid knowledge.
2. Psychology, calmness and confidence are a very important factor contributing to success not only in exams but in all jobs. We should not worry too much, creating more pressure for ourselves, leading to a lack of clarity of mind when entering the exam room.
3. Blessing is the ultimate factor that helps us go smoothly in every job. Creating blessings for ourselves is very simple from small things that we can easily do such as: being filial to our parents and grandparents, helping the family, helping those around us when needed, living beneficial for ourselves and others, always cheerful and gentle, bringing joy to others... blessings not only accompany us in this life but also in the lives to come.
Each of the attendees will receive a Dharma treasure gift when leaving the temple.
