Nhat Phap pagoda - Dong Nai: "Full moon Festival" program for Kids

In order to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival for children, Nhat Phap Pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda's sect) in Hung Loc commune, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province organized the program "Full Moon Festival" and gave 500 gifts to local children on Sep. 24th, 2023 (Aug. 10th, LC).

Attending the festival night, the children enjoyed performances: lion dance, magic, circus, bubble shaping art, and at the same time, the monks gave gifts including: 1 lantern, 1 moon cake, 1 bag of snacks, 1 art balloon, etc, for the Kids. Surely, these will be beautiful childhood memories engraved deeply into the minds of little attendees.  When technology in modern society of tablets or smartphones has been influencing everyone, especially the younger generation, kids’ childhood gradually loses the innocence, folk games and beauty of festivals, so, traditional festivals are becoming increasingly rare and strange. Thus, the program gave the children joyful and warm moments, awakening the good traditional values of the nation.

The festival ended in joy for the children and parents.
