Offering Monks at Summer Retreat – Releasing Creatures

Ven. Sen. Thich Chan Tinh, abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda, praised Buddhists wholeheartedly help the monks in retreat, to cultivate, consider their inner body and mind, improve precepts, meditation, wisdom. He also reminded that Buddhists be the firm seed, protective arms for Three Refuges, act Bodhisattva ideal, Buddhistize the family and relatives, cooperatively promote Dharma to remote areas with instructions of Buddhism, the Three Refuges and good activities and evil destroy.
On July 28th, 2015 (June 13th, Goat year), the Jun.Ven took the group to Vinh Hiep temple in Nga Bay town, Hau Giang Province, associating with the abbot and Buddhists to buy more than 3 tons of fishes for releast. Then, the group had an word offering and donating money to cover Vinh Hiep pagoda roof.
In the afternoon, they had the offering to the monks at Long An monastey and the nuns at Phuoc Long pagoda, Cai Rang District, Can Tho City.
