Offering to the rain-retreat schools of Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa

Thanks to Buddhists’ donation everywhere, Junior Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda (Nga Yen, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa) and Buddhists organized a trip to Rain-Retreat Schools in Thanh Hoa province being an annual affair at the temple on July 19th, 2023 (lunar May 17th, LC).

After offering incense to Buddha and kinds of items at Dong Cao Pagoda, the group moved to Sung Nghiem Rain-Retreat School – H. Hau Loc. Next, the group went to the rain-Retreat school of Khanh Quang pagoda - Bim Son town, where Junior Thich Tam Hung will be practiced for three months in the summer.

The next place is the school of Tuong Van Pagoda - Vinh Loc District; Rain-Retreat school of Linh Canh pagoda, Tho Xuan district; Rain-Retreat School of Dai Bi Pagoda in Thanh Hoa City; Rain-Retreat School of Khai Nam Pagoda in Sam Son City. On behalf of Dong Cao pagoda at the donation places, Junior Thich Tam Hung offered an offering speech in the witness of the monks-nuns with the items (money, cooking oil, vegetarian noodles, rice and the Sutra of Lotus, etc.).

After that, The Junior led the masses to the temple to worship Buddha and visit the retreat schools.
