Offerings to Thanh Phap Branch and giving gifts in Dong Nai

By the joyful approval of Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, on January 15, 2023 (Dec. 24th, LC), Junior Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists from Hoang Phap Pagoda had a charity visit to Dong Nai.

The first place is Thanh Phap branch, An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh, Dong Nai, belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda ‘s sect, managed by Junior Thich Tam Huan. Junior Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists sincerely lit incense, worshiped, offered money and almsgiving to Three Jewels. Junior Thich Tam Huan received gifts, praising the merit of monks and Buddhists.

Next, the delegation went to An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh, Dong Nai to give 100 gifts to poor and near-poor households so that they could welcome Tet warmly.

Attending the gift-giving session were leaders of commune authorities, monks, Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda and more than 100 poor people.

At the meeting, Junior Thich Tam Hue praised the spirit of mutual affection of local leaders for helping the charity group to support the needy residents to welcome the cat Year. He reminded listeners to have a happy life, they should do good, avoid evils, take refuge in the Three Jewels, keep five-precept basic, practice vegetarianism, being less desires, know enough in need.

Each gift is worth 330,000 VND, including: 10 kg of rice, 1 box of vegetarian noodles, 1 shirt, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 bottle of soy sauce, 1 Buddha necklace and 1 string of beads. The total amount of 100 gifts is 33,000,000 VND.

Then, the monks gave each attendee a dharma gift of books: Children's Lessons, a Gift of New Year, A brief Introduction of Hoang Phap monastery, Cultivation at home composed by Most Master Thich Chan Tinh.
