One-day cultivated course at Dong Cao pagoda in Thanh Hoa province

On Sep. 19th, 2017 (Rooster Year) Dong Cao Pagoda at Nga Yen Commune, Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province organized the One-Day Cultivation of Buddha’s name reciting monthly. Hundreds of Buddhists everywhere returned to attend the one–day cultivation.

Beginning the course, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, the Chief of Director Broad instructed all Buddhists the rite of great name’s repentance and reviewed five precepts of a lay man. Next, the mass practiced the rite of animal releasing.

At 9.A.M response to the invitation of the co - cultivator as the Junior Abbot Ven., Thich Thanh Dat, Committee of the Director Board (the D.B) of Viet Nam Buddhist Association (V.B.A) in Thanh Hoa province, the Chief of D.B of V.B.A in Hau Loc District, Abbot of Tam Giao Pagoda who preached the dharma talk named “The Meaning of the Suffering in Life” to all the mass.

Over an hour of dharma preaching, the Junior Ven. used simple words to tell about the first condition and the based meaning of sufferings in life. Since then, he helped the mass understand more about these ones of life and encouraged Buddhists to do  good deeds which helps gain good conditions on the cultivated way, transfer body and mind in the peacefulness and happiness at present and in the future. After that, the mass began the cultivated time as usual.

The end of cultivation, the organizers gave all Buddhists the book “Reexamining” written by Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh.
