One day cultivation course at Dong Cao Pagoda – Thanh Hoa

On May 03rd, 2015 (March 15th, the Goat Year), as usual, Dong Cao Pagoda at Yen Khoai Village, Nga Yen Commune, Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa continues to hold the one-day cultivation.

In responding to the invitation of the cultivation\r\norganizer, Monk Thich Tam Huong, the monk of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh\r\nCity, came to share Buddha-dharma with the Buddhists on the topic: “Building a\r\nHappy Life.”

In his speech, he guided methods of cultivation to build a\r\nhappy life. Each individual has to keep five precepts; these are not to\r\ntake life, not to steal, not to engage in improper sexual conduct, not to lie,\r\nnot to drink alcohol. Buddhists have to know how to come back to rely on\r\nTriratna. For cultivators of Buddha recitation, they should have the most\r\nelaborate schedule to make their faith, practice, and vow to be steady in\r\neach minute, each second to build a happy life for themselves and other people.

In this cultivation, to response to the event of April –\r\nevery family welcomes the   Buddha’s Birth Day, the organizer\r\ncalled on each family to decorate their house with flag, lights, Lumbini garden\r\nand a tribune for Bathing the Buddha ceremony. To encourage, the\r\norganizer gave nearly 200 Buddhist flags to the Buddhists attending the\r\ncultivation course.

At the end of the course, the organizer gave Buddhists the\r\nVCD “Retribution of killing.”
