One-Day Cultivation reciting the Buddha’s name at Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa Province

Although it got a big rain in the morning of June 3rd, 2018 (lunar Apr. 20th, dog year), hundreds of Buddhists anywhere at the district gathered to Dong Cao Pagoda at Nga Yen commune, Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province to attend One-Day Cultivation reciting the Buddha’s name on the monthly period.

Buddhist Dieu Thanh instructed them to chant the repentant rite of six senses.  Before the cultivating time, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung instructed all attendees the rite of releasing creatures.

At 9 a.m, in response to the invitation from the Junior Abbot Ven., Ven Thich Tam Tuong as  abbot of Tay Phap pagoda in Tay Ninh province came to the main hall to preach the dharma talk with theme “Giving and Offering”. Over an hour preaching, by his simple words about the Buddha’s teaching, the lecturer helped all mass understand clearly about the meannings of giving and offering, as well as the ways receiving adequate bless from its practice. Besides, the Junior Ven. reminded the mass when having conditions of learning Buddha dharma, they should apply the Buddha’s teachings on daily life to get a happy living and spread it to people around. This is the best beneficial and blessed of giving and offering. Ending of preaching was the answer and question between the Junior and the mass about their cultivation.

Then, the masses entered the schedule of the cultivation day. This time, the Organizing Board has issued the Registration for Summer Retreat II for children between the ages of 13 and 25 years, (it will be hold from 21 to 25 June, dog year) at Dong Cao Pagoda.
