One-Day Peaceful Retreat at Dang Phap Pagoda, Binh Phuoc

On Oct. 13th, 2024, Dang Phap Pagoda in Binh Phuoc province (belonging to the Hoang Phap pagoda sect) organized a One-Day Peaceful Retreat.

The mass gathered in the main hall to recite the Buddha name, and walk meditation,

 

 In response to the Organizers’ invitation, Junior Thich Tam Huong, Abbot of Suoi Phap Pagoda in Tay Ninh province came to the ashram to preach a Dharma talk named Practice Environment.

 

The process of practice is to follow the Buddha's teachings to transform the body and mind, bringing the mind back to awareness and peace. That practice will apply in every place as our ancestors advised: "First practice at home, second practice at the market, third practice at the temple". Regardless of any circumstances, the practitioner needs patience and compliance with precepts as the basis to achieve good dharma.

 

Guiding people to perfect good qualities and liberate evil thoughts, Buddhism has Dharma teachings for disciples to practice in daily life, helping themselves and everyone to be happy.

 

After the Dharma talk, the mass entered the penitential ritual as usual.

 

The retreat ended in everyone's joy.
