One-day peaceful Retreat at Hoa Phuc Pagoda

On Oct. 13th, 2019 (on Sep. 15th, lunar calendar), Hoa Phuc Pagoda (Hoa Truc, Hoa Thach, Quoc Oai, Hanoi) organized a "One-day peaceful Retreat" attracting over 600 Buddhists everywhere to attend.

In the morning, Buddhists gathered in the lecture hall to listen a Dharma talk from Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda (Nga Yen, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa) with the topic Keeping Faith with Buddha Dharma. Junior Ven. clearly preached the path to Buddhism by keeping the faith in the Three Jewels, diligently returning to the pagoda to practice and creating good conditions for the loved ones to practice together, which helps increase merit and build a peaceful and happy life.

In the afternoon, Buddhists came to recite the sutra of Universal Door and prayed for the Bodhisattva's blessing. The time of chanting took place in the solemn atmosphere as well as the joy of the mass.

After that, by teaching of Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa, Abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda, the class of doctrine for young Buddhists  regularly is taken place. The teachings of the Buddha not only help us find peace, true happiness right now, but also give a fulcrum, peace of mind for us forever after.
