One-Day Peaceful Retreat at Suoi Phap Pagoda

Full of Buddhists everywhere returned to Suoi Phap Pagoda in Tay Ninh province (belonging to the Hoang Phap’s custom) to attend One-day Retreat on Feb. 12th, 2023 (Jan. 22 nd, LC).

The retreat took place in pure solemnity with the support of the monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda. After gathering in the main hall to stabilize the ashram at 8:30 am, all practitioners began to practice reciting the Buddha's name and walking. Next, Junior Thich Tam Khiet, monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda came to the ashram to share a Dharma talk with the topic named Belief in Buddhism

Faith is the basic foundation for the development of religion; Therefore, belief in Buddhism is very important and is the basis of all good dharma. In fact, belief in Buddhism is different from other religions in that there must be conviction, certification, not hearing or seeing but believing. All need to have ascertainment by the view of wisdom then be able to believe. Next, Buddhists came to the main hall to offer meals and have lunch.

In the afternoon, it is the practice of chanting and reciting the Buddha's name.

The cultivation day ended in the joy of the mass.
