One - Day Practice

After breakfast, Buddhist practitioners gathered about the lecture hall to begin of reciting Buddha's name, walking meditation and chanting precepts. Next, the mass was listened a Dharma talk from Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda.
Before ending of the last One-day retreat, the abbot with an appointment with the audience will have a talk about himself being accused of fraud. However, due to the Covid epidemic - 19 happened, the retreat activities at Hoang Phap Pagoda were temporarily stopped and transferred to internal activities at the pagoda. At this retreat, the Venerable would state clearly about above incident to the mass.
The Senior Ven. hoped to convey a lesson in facing a criticism, accusation, misrepresentation.... let us keep ourselves a quiet and calm attitude. Importantly, we need live well and honestly in the middle of life, when an obstacle occurs it will also pass quickly, because we are awareness clearly there is no wrong in us.
By this way, the Monk recommend to the mass in every situation, we should consider adjusting our mind being pure, do not have misleading thoughts, cause to words and actions not good, leading to an unhappy realm. Only when trying to practice pure mind every day, we will attain a mood of true peace, happiness.
After reciting the Buddha's names in the afternoon, all Buddhists practiced sitting meditation together.
The cultivation day ended in the joy of the participants.
