One - Day Practice

On Jan. 17th, 2020 (Dec. 5th, Year of the Mouse), Hoang Phap pagoda held One-day Practice for all good men and believing women everywhere to attend.

After breakfast, all practitioners gathered at the Dharma Wheel Building to listen to a Dharma talk from Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda.

At the same time last year, Senior had read the letter "Love" and especially this year had a "proposal letter" from a female Buddhist.

From this letter, he stated the content of the letter about whether to ask for matchmaking about marriage, love, problems arising from craving in the spirit of Buddhism and life. By the way, he reiterated the commandment accompanying the story in the monastic precepts in the matter of matchmaking, helping the participants understand this should not be done. Since then, the monk explained the spirit of the wedding ceremony held at the temple, and explained all misunderstandings of Buddhists. Next, we understand better about the teachings of the Dharma and look deeply into the inner mind, craving is the seeds of all the suffering caused by attachment. At that time, we will have our right view and always learn the Buddha Dharma as a joy, abandoning all bondage taught by the Buddha, finding true peace and happiness.

After ending the Buddha recitation time in the afternoon, Buddhists practiced sitting meditation together.

The cultivation day closed in joy of the participants.
