One - Day Practice and Taking in Three-Jewel Refuge at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

On March 16th, 2025 (Feb. 17th, LC) Dong Cao pagoda in Thanh Hoa province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda's sect) continued to organize One-Day Practice and take in Three-Jewel Refuge for Buddhists everywhere to attend.

First, the ashram had a ritual of six-sense repentance, reviewed Three-Refuge-Five precepts, then chanted the mantra and released creatures.

 

At 9:30 am, the Abbot thoroughly explained about the purpose, meaning of taking Three-Jewel refuge, Five precepts, necessary rules to Buddhists.

 

 In the afternoon, the Abbot Junior came to the main hall to transmit Three Refuge - Five Precepts to 50 good men and believing women, who hope to become Buddhists.

 

The monk led the mass to recite sutra-mantra and repented before receiving Three Refuge-Five Precepts. He thoroughly preached about repentance, taking Three-Jewel refuge, Buddhists...so that the attendees can clearly understand the necessary demeanor when coming to the temple.

 

Last, the monk gave dharma gift portions to all participants at the end of the ritual.
