One - Day Practice at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

On July 09th, 2023 (May 22th, LC), Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa province (belonging to the Hoang Phap’s custom) continued to organize One-Day Practice for Buddhists everywhere to attend.

First, Junior Thich Tam Nhuan instructed the mass meditation walking, chanted the ritual of six-sense repentance, reviewed five precepts, and performed the rite freeing creatures.

 

 

At 9:30 a.m, the Junior had a dharma talk named Reborn to Pure land.

 

 

After over an hour with his own easy-to-understand language and internship experience, He explained: being reborn Pure Land, practitioners must have belief, Vow, Practice. Thanks to this, the mass have firm knowledge to be more stable in their practice, and overcome five desires to follow the right path the Buddha and Patriarchs have shown. He reminds the mass who want to be reborn in bliss, let's build Saha into bliss first, then surely when a practitioner gives up its body, that one will be born in a peaceful realm.

 

Next, Junior Thich Tam Hung - Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda guided the mass to offer a meal and have lunch in mindfulness.

 

 

 Then, the Abbot instructed all participants sitting quietly to feel happiness in the present, read Sigalovada sutta and walked in the Buddha recitation.

 

 

 Last, the mass sat down together and shared the energy of cultivation day.
