One - Day Practice at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

On March 10th, 2024 (Feb. 01st, LC) Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda's sect) continued to organize One-Day Practice for Buddhists everywhere to attend the retreat.

After reciting the Ksitigarbha Sutra, the mass and Junior Thich Tam Hung went to Nga Son district market to buy fish sold in the market, and performed a rite to release them on Hung Long River.

Here, the group also bought foods, vegetables-fruits to create good conditions, and encourage people to quit killing and practice vegetarianism.

Next, all participants returned to Ngo Chan Tu's lecture hall to chant the Eightfold Path sutra, and offer almsgivings to Three Jewels on the first day of lunar month.

Buddhist Lien Hong guided the Yen Phap ashram to prepare over 200 vegetarian meals, and then give them to patients being treated at Nga Son General.

At lunchtime, the mass came back to the temple, and had lunch in mindfulness.
