One - Day Practice at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

The crowd of Buddhists everywhere returned to Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa (belonging to the Hoang Phap sect) to attend One-day Practice on Aug. 10th, 2025 (June 17th, LC).

The mass practiced walking meditation around the temple, had a ritual of six-sense repentance, reminded Three-Refuge and Five precepts, then released creatures.

 

At 9:30 a.m, the mass solemnly listened to a dharma talk named "Ullambana Ceremony in Vietnamese consciousness, preached by the Junior Abbot of Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa.

 

Next, Buddhists had lunch together and took a nap after the Dharma talk.

 

All attendees practiced sitting quietly and reading Sigalovada sutta, as well as reciting the Buddha name in the afternoon.

 

Last, the mass sat together to share the peaceful energy after a day of practice.
