On Oct. 12th, 2025 (Aug. 21st, LC) Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda's sect) continued to organize One-Day Practice for Buddhists everywhere to attend.

One - Day Practice at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

Junior Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda instructed the mass walking meditation, had a ritual of six-sense repentance, reviewed Three-Refuge and Five precepts, then released creatures.

At 8:30 a.m, the mass solemnly listened to a dharma talk named How do Buddhists apply the Six Paramitas to real life? at Ngo Chan Tu lecture hall, which was preached by Junior Thich Nguyen Hiep - Abbot of Kim Lien Pagoda, Nga Son Commune, Thanh Hoa.

The mass had a ritual of six-sense repentance after the dharma talk.

All attendees practiced sitting quietly and reading Sigalovada sutta, as well as reciting the Buddha name in the afternoon. Next, the mass listened to a Dharma talk named "Impermanence in Life" preached by Junior Thich Tam Truong - Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, HCMC. He helped the mass identify and better understand the impermanence of natural disasters and floods. Then, he encouraged Buddhists to learn to let go when realizing that life is impermanent to cherish our present life, practice diligently, do good deeds, and accumulate merits as a foundation for peace in the future.
