One-Day Retreat, and charity in the 1st day of lunar moon at Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa

Devout Buddhists and local people returned to Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa province (belonging to Hoang Phap Pagoda ’s custom) to attend cultivation activities on April 20th, 2023

After chanting Ksitigarbha sutra, Junior Thich Tam Hung instructed Buddhists going to Nga Son district market to buy fish which would release them into the Hung Long River; this helps to show love to sentient beings.

Next, the mass returned to the main hall to offer a meal to the Three Jewel, and chanted the Eightfold Path of sutra.  The temple prepared nearly 400 vegetarian meals to give to patients being treated at Nga Son General Hospital under the guidance of Buddhist Tinh Dong.

At lunchtime, the mass came back to the temple, and had lunch in mindfulness.

The mass chanted together the Lotus sutra led by Dieu Thang Buddhists in the afternoon.

The cultivation day and charity ended in joy for the participants.
