One- day Retreat and giving Tet gifts at Giai Lam Pagoda - Ha Tinh

On Jan. 28th, 2024, good men and believing women in Tan Lam Huong commune, Thanh Ha districts, Ha Tinh province gathered at Giai Lam Pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda) to attend One-day practice and receive Tet gifts at the temple.

At 8:00 a.m., all Buddhists gathered in the main hall to recite the Buddha’s name.

Next the rite, Junior Thich Tam Man, monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda came to the lecture hall to share a dharma talk to the mass.

After reciting the Buddha name and walking meditation in the afternoon, the mass participated in the program of giving Tet gifts to people, Buddhists and students in difficult circumstances.

Attending the program, on the temple representatives were Junior Thich Tam Luc, temple monks; On the government were Ms. Tran Thi Yen, Vice Chairman of Tan Lam Huong commune; Ms. Pham Thi Luc, chairwoman of the commune front; Mr. Phan Thanh Dao, Vice Chairman of Commune Front, and a large number of Buddhists and local people.

Social charity in the New Year is a meaningful and practical gift of humanity.

Sincerely thanks to the golden hearts and benefactors who have supported this affair! Especially Mr. Le Danh Thanh and Mr. Pham Thanh Binh, Thach Tan residents always look towards their roots. In this time, the pagoda gave 69 gifts, each containing 10kg of rice and an envelope of 500,000 VND.

The practice day ended in joy for all practitioners.
