One-Day Retreat at Dong Cao Pagoda - Thanh Hoa Province

On December 27th, 2015 (Lunar November 17th , Goat Year). on last days of the winter, although it was cold, there were very crowded Buddhists who came to the ashram of Dong Cao Pagoda, Yen Khoai village, Nga Tien commune, Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province to participate in the One-Day Retreat.

In this cultivation course, the organizers invited Junior Venerable Thich Trung Phuoc, who is the Lecturer of Vietnam Buddhist Institute in HCMC, to preach adharma on the topic of “The meaning of Namo Amitabha Buddha”. On his dharma speech, he explained clearly about the whole meaning of great name “Namo Amitabha Buddha”. Besides, beingin the final dharma  era and causally studying the Pure Land Dharma section, we have to understand the Buddha name‘s marvelous and extreme benefit as “Namo Amitabha Buddha”. Next, the Junior Ven. interpreted Buddhists, who have been studying and practicing this one,should try to practise  reciting the Buddha’s name in daily life to obtain happiness at the present and in the future as well.

After that, all began a praying for repentanceoperated reciting the Buddha’s name,  and took meditative seating.
