One-Day Retreat at Minh Chat ashram in Can Tho and offering to Khmer Theravada Buddhist University of the Charity Board.

On March 16th, 2024, Junior Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists from Hoang Phap Pagoda went to Khmer Theravada Buddhist University (KTBU) at hamlet 12, Chau Van Liem Ward, O Mon District, Can Tho City to donate the Three Jewels.

Most Ven Dao Nhu, Vice Chairman of Executive Council, President of KTBU, Head of the Director Board of VBS in Can Tho City expressed his gratitude to Junior Thich Tam Hue of Hoang Phap Pagoda’s Charity Board who have made many contributions to KTBU and Khmer people during the past time.

The donating trip in Can Tho was completely accomplished in the joy of the mass.

Junior Thich Tam Hue and devout Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda returned to Minh Chat retreat in Can Tho on March 16th, 2024 to attend the One-Day Retreat. Attending the practice were the presence of Buddhists in Can Tho.

 At 4:30 am, the mass chanted the Shurangama mantra, and offered food to lonely spirits.

 After breakfast, the monks guided Buddhists in the demeanor to fold hands, prostrate; how to walk, recite Buddha's name and raise a bow to offer food. Then, the mass had the time of reciting the Buddha's name, and chanted Buddhists’ precepts.

Response to the Organizers’ invitation, Most Thich Nhat Hy, Member of Central Executive Council, Head of Dharma Propagation Board of HCMCs’ VBS - Vice Director Board of HCMC's Buddhist Sangha had a dharma talk named: Motivation for Prince Siddhartha to become a monk".

After the dharma, tha mass had lunch.

All monks and Buddhists went to release fish and had a rite of water burial at Hau Giang River in Can Tho.

The day of practice ended with the joy of the attendees.
