One-day Retreat for Teenager at Dang Phap Pagoda, Binh Phuoc

On July 09th, 2023, Dang Phap Pagoda in Binh Phuoc province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda) organized an One-Day Retreat for Teenagers to attend.

 At 8 a.m, young attendees learned about the basic demeanor of lay people. In response to the Organizers’ invitation, Junior Thich Tam Hanh, monks of Hoang Phap pagoda came to the ashram to preach a dharma talk named Father’s sweats.

 

 

Next, Buddhist Tam Cuong - Head of Buddhist Families in Binh Phuoc province and female members guided teenagers in activities and played collective games.

 

 

After that, Buddhists had a lunch in mindfulness.

 

 

In the retreat, the children can read the article "Gratitude" compiled by Most Thich Chan Tinh to pay gratitude to parents, teachers, the Three Jewels, the country and people around; vowing to become a filial son, good learners when returning to its family.

 

The practice day ended in joy for the participants.
