One-day Retreat for Youth

After registering in the morning, monks guided all attendees to the lecture hall to participate in the activity. Finishing chanting the sutra of Merit Gratitude to remind the learners of their parents' merit, they heard a dharma talk from Junior Thich Tam Luc with the topic Observing life.
From the touching stories of a father, a mother - examples of sacrificing everything for their children to remind all participants, those who still have parents in the world, should love and cherish this sacred moment. By his preaching, Junior Ven. helped the students to re-recognize their own mistakes and to correct them, as well as the way of repaying the great merits of their parents.
After spending a few meditative minutes of retreats and entertainment in the afternoon, the learners were heard about Three Responsibilities by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, The director of ATY Asia Pacific Company, the military semester, shares about Three Responsibilities.
Starting simple games, he talked about three responsibilities of each person: the first is responsibility in every word, action, thought and its personal behaviors towards others. The next is the responsibility to community and society meaning respect the law, care for everyone around and stand up after failure. The last is responsibility to family - this is the moral support and emotional bank of each of us.
Before returning, the participants were given dharma gifts, including a book of Shakyamuni Buddha's history with lanterns and moon cake.
The retreat ended in the joy of participants.
