One-Day Retreat In Cambodia

On Sep. 20th, 2015 (Lunar Aug. 08th, Goat Year), Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia organized ONE-DAY RETREAT of reciting Buddha’s name.

Although being busy with construction in material deficiency, Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia organized monthly ONE-DAY RETREAT of reciting Buddha’s name.

 From the permission of Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda in Vietnam didn't care for difficulties going to Cambodia to support the practice.

Over 200 Buddhists in Phnom-Penh capital and neighboring places concentrated there very early. In preaching, Jun. Venerable Thich Tam Truc, the abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia and the monks in Vietnam shared the basic tenets like The Three Studies after the passionless life and escape from transmigration, impermanence, necessary things going to pagoda, from which Buddhists can more understand Buddha’s teaching for good things.

 After the preaching, the Buddhists mass together walked meditatively and had lunch. In the afternoon, they sat for meditation and walked reciting Buddha’s name. The retreat ended happily for all.
