One-Day Retreat in Cambodia in September.

Instructed by Sen. Ven. Thich Chan Tinh and all the monks came to support one-day retreat in response to the invitation Senior Venerable Thich Tam Truc, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda-Cambodia on September 7th, 2014 (Lunar August 14th, Horse Year)

Despite many difficulties, by wishes to bring the Buddha’s\r\nteachings to everyone, Senior Venerable was not afraid to hold a one-day\r\nretreat each month in the pagoda for Vietnamese Cambodian Buddhists.

\r\n\r\n

 In this retreat, Senior Venerable Thich Tam Trong, the\r\nmonks of Hoang Phap pagoda, had a Dharma talk for more 250 Buddhists on the\r\ntopic "Poor and Rich". Thereby, the Venerable wanted to remind that\r\npeople are really rich when they are in happiness. People are not called\r\n"rich" if they have a lot of money, properties but they still\r\nsuffer from quarreling marriage life, unruly children. On the contrary, the\r\nrichest people are the ones who do not have enough physical facilities but they\r\nhave a happy family and obedient children,  help needy people and have joyfully spiritual life.

 After the dharma talk, all Buddhists began praying to\r\nthe Buddha and meditative walking course to find peace and happiness in them,\r\nwhich has been blurred by greed, hatred and delusion in this worldly life.

\r\n\r\n

 At the end of the course, Buddhists delightedly\r\nreceived Dharma gifts and moon cakes.
