One day Retreat of Cambodia Hoang Phap Pagoda

On July 10th, 2022 (June 12th, LC), Cambodia Hoang Phap pagoda (Saang district, Kandal province, Kingdom of Cambodia) organized One-Day Retreat for Vietnamese people and residents in the area.

In the morning, Junior Thich Tam Truc, Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia instructed Buddhists how to practice, as well as the demeanor of the Buddha disciples.

Receiving an invitation from the Abbot, Junior Thich Tam Chieu, monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda in Vietnam, had a dharma talk with the topic The benefits of keeping five precepts, are five ethical principles of lay Buddhists. Over an hour of explanation, the monk talked about a few real-life cases that helped the practitioners see clearly between the benefits of keeping precepts and the harm of breaking those precepts. Thanks to this, the mass has the right thinking and perception of taking refuge in Three Jewels, upholding five precepts to behave in life, then gain a peaceful and happy life.

In the afternoon is the time of reciting Buddha's names.
