One-Day Retreat Reciting the Buddha's name at Hoang Phap Pagoda in Cambodia

On June 16th, 2019 (lunar May 14th, the year of the Pig), Hoang Phap Pagoda in Cambodia held one-day retreat for more than 200 Vietnamese Buddhists and Vietnam people in oversea.
Before entering the time to recite Buddha's name, Buddhists gathered at lecture hall to listen to the dharma. In this retreat, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Quyet, the monk of Hoang Phap Pagoda in Vietnam shared a dharma talk with the theme The Importance Of Blessing.
According to his sharing, Blessing is any actions of benefiting people and animals which will help us have the peace and happiness at present and future. Blessing is built on the base of five precepts and ten good things. He also reminded Buddhists the responsibility of the Buddha’s disciple. In addition, we need to be diligent in doing good things, such as filial piety to the parents, vegetarianism, reciting the Buddha's name, volunteering, building bridges and roads, etc., accompany with our cultivating. This will depend on the ability to help difficult circumstances, unfortunate people around us. Thus, We will accumulate merit for ourselves and build a happy family, the society and the country is more and more prosperous, establishing a pure land in this world.
After preaching, it is the time of cultivating of reciting Buddha's name.
The day of cultivating closed in the joy of everyone.
