"Only I myself can help me....." - Dharma Talk in the Seven-Day Special Retreat

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Truong preached Buddhadharma at the main hall with the topic "Only I myself can help me....." to all participants on the morning of April 18th, 2020 (lunar March 26th, the rat year).

In Dharma talk, the Junior mentioned two concepts of inside power and outside power in the practitioner's cultivation. Outside power is outside support in the Buddha's teachings to help grow cultivator’s faith. Next, Junior Ven. emphasized the inside power (self-reliance) of each individual to be the decisive factor for human value.

Mankind will self control their abilities, actions and no any gods can command or punish them. By the human capacity, one will realize the nature of life and the origin of things, proceed to the meaningful and happy life.

By his preaching, the Monk always encouraged the spirit for the mass. Let strive diligently on the path of Buddhist cultivation in order to contribute useful to humanity.

After the Dharma Talk, all attendees sang together the song "co na na, disappear far!" to mobilize everyone joining hands against the Covid-19 pandemic.
