Opening the summer retreat at Tay Khanh Pagoda

Tay Khanh pagoda organized the opening of the 4th summer retreat for young people on July 1st, 2018 (lunar June 17th, the year of dog) at Cao Mai hamlet, Quang Hung commune, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province.

In summer, the youth have opportunities of relaxing, enjoying, travelling, camping, etc, after the days at their schooling. Temporarily halting over those entertainments, they came to pagoda for their cultivating, sowing good seeds for supporting a peaceful and happy life at present.

In the morning, the youth returned to pagoda for registering After procerdures of registering, in the afternoon, the monk organizers instructed their dignities, arrangement of eating, sleeping and were delivered into groups. Next, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Kinh, Abbot of Tay Khanh pagoda had some praising words to their cultivating diligence. After that, he displayed the retreat’s principles and advised them hard cultivation. They should preciously know their moments at present .
