Over 70.000 red pockets had been given in the first New Year day

Going to the temple on the first day of the New year is a nice tradition of the Vietnamese. At Hoang Phap, tens thousands of people from many places came to worship, to pray and send their wishes to the abbot, Ven. Thich Chan Tinh.

With joy and happiness of the first day of the new year, the monk presented at the Multifunction Building from early to late evening to receive and give the red pocket to people. From the New Year's Eve to the first day, it’s estimated that there were over 70.000 red pockets and over 40.000 handbooks “A Gift of New Year” had been given.
