Pagoda Charity Program “Means of Compassion” on January 2nd, 2026

Junior Thich Tam Truong along with monks and Buddhists from Hoang Phap Pagoda, visited and provided gifts and support to two disadvantaged families in the local area on January 2nd, 2026.

 Local government officials present at the charity trip included: Ms. Phan Thi Ngoc Quan, President of the VietNam Fatherland Front (PofVNFF) of Hoc Mon commune; Mr. Dang Thanh Xuan - Vice PofVNFF of Hoc Mon commune, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hoc Mon commune.

 

  After finding out the lacks of the households thanking to the support of the Hoc Mon commune's FFC, Hoang Phap Pagoda visited two families:

 

1. The family of Ms. Tran Thi Bich Lien, residing at 3/2E, Hamlet 22, Hoc Mon Commune, received a sugarcane juice cart, 3 tables, and 12 plastic chairs.

 

2. The family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Chum, residing at 2/61D, Hamlet 47, Hoc Mon Commune, received a soy milk cart, 2 tables, and 8 plastic chairs from the pagoda.

 

By surveying the circumstances of each household and giving appropriate means, the pagoda wants to help mean fates have conditions to be self-reliant in their work, reduce immediate lacks and stabilize their long-term income. Also, the charity program is a bridge for Buddhists to practice charity, sow good karma and join hands to support difficult families.
