Partake in the Vesak Ceremony at Yonggungsa Cham Joeun Uri Temples

On May 22nd, 2018 (April 8th, Lunar Calendar), many solemn ceremonies were held everywhere in Korea for celebrating the Buddha’s birth.

From the past, Vesak had become the National holiday of Korea. Many activities occurred for celebrating this event. The Buddha’s birth has become an important event to the Buddhist followers on over the world, therefore, it is strongly responded by not only the Korean but people everywhere.

To share this joy with the Vietnamese Buddhist in Korea, Hoang Phap sent some monks to Korea for attending the ceremony in the two temples Yonggungsa Temple in Incheon city, and Cham Joeun Uri Temple in Jeonju city, Korea.

By this occasion, the monks also organized releasing animals, visited and sent some gifts to the Orphanage in Kanghwa.
