Participating in the contest to learn about the teachings of Buddhists

Hoang Phap pagoda organized a contest to learn about the teachings and life of Buddha Shakyamuni for the temple 's Buddhists on Dec. 14th, 2023.

Coming to the temple to practice and volunteer working, Buddhists contribute to serving others and creating blessings for themselves which is precious, and cultivating wisdom is the main goal of Buddhist disciples. The motto that the Most Master always reminds his disciples, both monks and lay people to always remember and cultivate is Blessing - wisdom dual practice. In order to encourage the practitioners' spirit, the Management Board Monks have announced the content and learned in the set of Common Buddhist Studies compiled by Most Thich Thien Hoa for Buddhists to review together one week before the competition date.

Participating in the contest, contestants answer 20 multiple-choice questions and 2 essay questions. In the exam results, the monks realized the spirit of practice of the mass was very commendable, especially 5 candidates achieved the best results.

Finally, the monks awarded medals and gifts to the winning candidates: 01 first prize, 01 second prize, 01 third prize and 02 consolation prizes on the evening of December 18th, 2023.
