Paying the Last Tribute to the Late Most Venerable Thich Tac An

Most Venerable Thich Tac An, member of the Witness Council of Vietnamese Buddhist Congregation, member of the Witness Council of Vietnamese Buddhist Congregation in Ho Chi Minh City; Head of Thien Thai Giao Quan Tong, Abbot of Thien Ton 2 pagoda in district 2, HCMC, passed away at 12:00, Oct, 23, 2017 (Sep 04, lunar calendar).
Based on the assignment from Abbot Thich Chan Tinh, in the afternoon of October 26, 2017 (September 7, lunar calendar), monks from Hoang Phap Sangha came to Thien Ton Pagoda, Cat Lai Ward, District 2, Ho Chi Minh to offer incense paying the last tribute to the late Most Venerable for his large merit and contribution to Vietnam Buddhism. The Most Venerable Thich Tac An has been a virtuous clergy man, a spiritual leader for monks, nuns and Buddhists to follow.
He has been a moral and wise practitioner in Buddhism. His mind has been as clear as bright star and his morality is as light as full moon. He has been famous and respected in clergy class witnessing important Buddhism events of Sangha.
His practicing life is a brilliant example for clergy descendants to follow and his departure is a great loss for Vietnamese Buddhism. Regardless he has gone to other realm, his merit and efforts are still with us shining forever.
