Penitent Course on Jun 23, 2017

In the evening of Jun 23, 2017 (May 29, lunar calendar), devout Buddhists from HCMC and other regions came to Hoang Phap Pagoda to attend the regular repentant ceremony.

Before the main course, Venerable Thich Tam Phung, monk from Hoang Phap Pagoda, delivered a Dharma talk with the topic "Six Ways for Promotion in Practice".

A practitioner who would like to reach the liberation and enlightenment should practice the following six themes:

1. Be diligent and ready to listen to Dharma

2. Practice and practice

3. Ceasing evils and secular bondage

4. Maintain the seclusion in mind

5. Avoid hatred and anger

6. Avoid competing and argument

These six themes can help practitioners promote the trust in Triratna, grow good deeds and cease bad deeds.

After the talk, the repentant ceremony kept on its course as usual.
