Praying before Examination

In June 27th, 2016 (May 23rd and 26th Monkey year), nearly 300 students at 12th grade of Nguyen Van Cu, Nhan Van, Ly Thuong Kiet and Pham Quang Sang high school gathered at Hoang Phap pagoda to pray before the graduation exam from high school and university-college entrance in 2016.

Before the time of “Overcoming great turning-point”, candidates felt the same anxious, nervous attitude. Understanding that, managing board organized for them to visit pagoda, prostrate Buddha and praying.

Coming pagoda’s gate, in the transquil and solemn atmosphere harmonying  with frankincense, they seem to remove parts of their burden of the exam.

Before the ritual of prostrating Buddha took place , Junior Thich Tam Dao gave some advice, valuable experiences which encourgage the young. He hoped that they would be calm, lucid in their task as well as applied their knowledge to the best so that they would obtain good result in the coming exam.

The vow ritual was celebrated in the glad and transquil, solemn atmosphere of the mass.

Before leaving the pagoda, each received a Dharma gift including:

Books of “Brief history of Sakyamuni”, “Accidenct or blessing being unforseeable”, “Consquence of killing”, “Confidence with the young” “Still in happiness”.

- A DVD of  the 10th Sunflower.
