Praying rite before the exam 2023 at Giai Lam Pagoda, Ha Tinh

In the afternoon of June 20th, 2023, the Abbot of Giai Lam pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s sect) in Ha Tinh held a rite "Prayers for the upcoming Exam" for students of the 12th grade 2023.

Students listened to teachings from Junior Thich Tam Luc, Junior Thich Dao Thuyen about Buddha's teachings and methods of meditation to apply practice, help reduce stress, anxiety and pressure before entering the exam room. With a relaxed, calm and confident mentality, they can do their best on the test. In addition, the monks encouraged the students’ spirit, kept their faith with their passions and ideals, tried their best to achieve their dreams, and contributed to building a better society in the future. After the Dharma talk, all young learners burned incense and chanted prayers.

The ritual ended with the joy of the mass. Before leaving, all participants were given a gift of Dharma by the monks.
