Preaching dharma at Bich Thuong pagoda and TayKhanh pagoda in the eighth day of propagation trip in the Northern

On the morning of Feb. 03rd, 2023, Most Thich Chan Tinh had a Dharma lecture at Tay Khanh pagoda (belonging to the Hoang Phap pagoda sect) at Minh Quang commune, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province.

Before listening to the dharma talk preached by the Most Ven, Junior Thich Tam Kinh and Buddhists offered their longevity wishes to the Most Master.

Returning to the Patriarchal Temple with a change in the appearance and achievements in Buddhist activities, the Most Ven gave compliments to the Abbot following the patriarch's example in the Dharma propagating to the benefit for society, and the religion.

From the Buddhist activities of Hoang Phap Pagoda as well as branches in the pagoda’s sect, the Most Ven preached the benefits and merits of helping people to know Buddhadharma, take refuge in Three Jewels, transform body-mind, do noble and good things. The Buddha said, the tears of suffering sentient beings from countless kalpas drifting in six realms up to now being more than the water in four oceans. Those who die and are reborn as human beings are as few as the earth on a fingernail; while the dead who fall in the evil realms are as numerous as the land number of the globe. Being born as a human, one must practice and observe five precepts, such as no killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, and drinking. Each person needs to orient, transform his body and mind, keep precepts, and practice good karma to be happy now, then be reborn in a good realm.

After the Dharma talk at Tay Khanh Pagoda, the Most Master and monks continued the affair trip. Going to Giac Chuong Pagoda in Ninh Binh City, the delegation sightseed, worshiped Buddha, visited and wished Tet to Senior Thich Minh Quang.

In the afternoon, Most Thich Chan Tinh had a Dharma talk session at Bich Thuong Pagoda (belonging to the sect of Hoang Phap pagoda) at Bich Thuong hamlet, Gia Hoa commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province.

Before entering the Dharma talk period, Junior Thich Tam Giai and all Buddhists in the ashram solemnly bowed and offered their New Year's greetings to the Most Master.

Each of us born in this life has different circumstances: People are rich, beautiful, happy; people with ugly faces, poor, unhappy. Sometimes the same parents are born, but each person is also different in terms of beauty, intelligence, longevity, and fortune. All things in life are due to each person's own karma, not due to any God's disaster, or blessing. No one has the right to give one person happiness or make the other suffer. Happiness or suffering is up to us to decide, one wants to have good results, he must sow good causes, and when sowing bad causes, he will receive unhappiness.

Buddhists should not be superstitious, good and bad notions lead to division in marriage. A family, husband and wife live together happily or discord is not due to unharmonious age, or good-bad days. If each person knows how to sympathize, love and forgive, the family will be happy and peaceful.
