Preparation Activities to Welcome Year of Rooster

Again, beautiful and fresh spring is coming around the corner in the delight and expectation of Buddhist devotees and others. In order to build up the image of the Vietnamese traditional Tet as well as create the springy air in the pagoda environment, monks and Buddhists at Hoang Phap pagoda make the landscapes and decoration to welcome the New Year of Rooster.

As usual, Hoang Phap Pagoda is the beautiful spiritual site for visitors during spring. Since early in the morning, in the late winter cool breeze, the monks have started their busy working day with preparation activities as making lantern, decoration, trimming bonsai/ trees and cleaning the environment. The exciting air at Hoang Phap Pagoda is quite different to other days. Everyone is trying the best for a warm, caring and happy new year in the pagoda.
