Preparation for Vesak at Hoang Phap Pagoda

"Be Happy, Buddha was born". More than 26 centuries ago in Kapilavatthu, King Śuddhodana and his people were happy when Prince Siddhartha was born. Nowadays, this event is celebrated by Buddhists all over the world, who are imbrued with Buddha’s teachings.

Together with the atmosphere of joys and sincerity of devout Buddhists on the earth, since early of April(lunar calendar), monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda have many activities of preparation for Vesak as making Buddhism flags, banners, slogans, platform decoration … in the prompt and exciting sense. Up to this moment, everything almost finishes. Regardless the hardship and tiredness during the process in hot weather, happiness appears on the face of devout Buddhists who would like to donate their efforts as the hearty gift to Buddha on Vesak Day.
