Preparing for the Celebration of Amitabha Buddha’s Birth

Update: 03/01/2015
In every Autumn cold breeze, the Southern scenery seems to be quiet in the cold temperature. To the Buddhists, especially to the Dharma Practitioners, this is the warmest period of the year because all of them focus to the ceremony of Amitabha Buddha’s birthday, the noble father and the head of the Pure Land.

Preparing for the Celebration of Amitabha Buddha’s Birth

As in general, in every Lunar November 17th, Hoang Phap\r\npagoda celebrates solemnly the flower lantern night to commemorate the Amitabha\r\nBuddha’s birthday. In order to succeed the ceremony, at the beginning of the\r\ncultivation retreat, all steps of the preparation were held urgently by the\r\nmonks and the Buddhists, such as: decorating the rostrum, hanging flags,\r\nposters, and banners etc. Wishing to make the solemn Pure Land beautiful spot\r\nhere, all feel highly happy with their duty so that they can show their highest\r\nsincerity to the Buddha in his birthday.

This is silent work but full of significance.
