Program "Spring of love in the border areas" of Tam Phap Pagoda, Binh Phuoc

In the permission and direction of Binh Phuoc Health Department, Bu Dop district People Committee (PC), Thien Hung Commune PC, Tam Phap pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda sect) in Binh Phuoc province accompanying with HCMC Charity Group organized the program named Spring love in the border regions with the purpose of health examination, treatment, and free medicine for the poor and those under social protection in Thien Hung commune, Bu Dop district, Binh Phuoc province on Jan. 14th, 2024.

The delegation examined and provided free medicine to 496 people; donated 150 gifts to the poor, each worth 350,000; donated 100 gifts to children, each worth 100,000, and donated 30 portions of steel sticks to the elderly with a total cost for the charity trip of over 108,000,000 VND. 

Medical examination in specialties: general internal examination, eye measurement and glasses donation, Ultrasound - electrocardiogram measurement and medicine dispensing, consult on how to use medicine for poor people.

Free health examination and giving medicine is to share difficulties and reduce annual medical costs for people from lonely families and difficult circumstances..., thereby contributing to improving life and spirit for the people. This is an activity with practical significance, demonstrating the spirit of mutual affection, caring for and improving people's health, joining hands for community health and social security.

Junior Thich Tam Duyet, Abbot of Tam Phap pagoda conveyed his thanks to HCMC Volunteer Group, and had greetings to people's health, encouraging everyone to try their best to do business and improve their life in the medical examination session. He hopes residents in the border areas will make efforts to unite and accompany the government to build new rural areas in the border regions that are increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized; meanwhile, paid gratitude to the authorities at all levels for caring, creating conditions and closely coordinating to support people for health examination, receiving gifts.

Donors have supported small gifts to help poor people have more conditions to welcome Spring happily and warmly, while also creating motivation to escape poverty and rise up in life. This activity is humanitarian with profound and practical meaning, demonstrating the spirit and responsibility, joining hands to care for community health, and helping people in border areas on the Lunar New Year of the Dragon.
