Prostrating Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara 's names at Giai Lam pagoda

On the occasion of the anniversary of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara in the evening of Oct. 14th, 2022 (Sep. 19th, LC), Giai Lam Pagoda had a rite to prostrate Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara 's names for Buddhists everywhere to attend.

This rite helps Buddhists better understand Her careers and practice following Her vows, as well as apply those ethics to their family for peace and happiness.

The mass started according to the traditional way. All practitioners repeated "Namo Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva" after each of His names to be chanted. The energy emanating from the devotion of the mass is to pray for peace in the world, sentient beings to be delighted, all homes to be warm and happy, the pandemic quickly to be repelled.
